Dunia Yetu: Building Tanzania's Digital Future Together

Dunia Yetu event was a series of talks that took place on 19th January 2024 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Four Points by Sheraton Dar es Salaam New Africa.
The presentations enlightened an initiative focused to create a sovereign internet and a decentralized P2P communication network using Holochain technology that will decrease Tanzania $10 Billion (approx. TZS 25 Trillion), lost annually due to reliance on internet controlled by foreign entities; and thus regain freedom and control over security, data, information, knowledge, and influence. The emphasis was put on implementation flow that is themed on authenticity, open source, and simplicity.
