First AFRICAI/MICCAI Summer School – Applications are Now Open

1st AFRICAI/MICCAI Summer School

Marrakech, 29 May – 2 June 2023

Applications Deadline: 28 February 2023

MICCAI 2024 will be the first MICCAI conference and first scientific event on AI for medical imaging to be organised on the African continent, specifically in Marrakesh, Morocco (6-10 October 2024). We hope to see you all there!

Hence, we are organising the AFRICAI/MICCAI Summer School to encourage talented young Africa-based graduates to submit their research to MICCAI 2024.

We will offer travel grants to the Summer School for 30-40 selected African students (covering flights, accommodation and meals).

Who can apply?

Open to all African students– students must be based in an African country.
Students currently undertaking a Master of Science or PhD degree.
Students that have a supervisor.
Students with intermediate to advanced programming skills.
