Sarah Kendrew is an Astronomer and Instrument Scientist with the European Space Agency. She is based at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, MD, supporting the operations of the JWST instrument MIRI.

Robel Geda is a graduate student in the Department of Astrophysical Sciences at Princeton University. Before his time at Princeton, he served as a software engineer on the JWST mission at the Space Telescope Science Institute. Robel was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where he completed his primary and junior high school education. The dark African skies he grew up under inspired his lifelong passion for astronomy, which he hopes to share with us during his presentation.

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is a space telescope jointly developed by NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA), and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).
