Install Google Chrome on Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS

As of today, Google Chrome browser can be installed on the Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS machine with the following two commands:

Code: [Select all] [Expand/Collapse]
  1. $wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
  2. $sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
  3. #Or
  4. $sudo apt install ./google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb


Thereafter, type goole-chrome in the Terminal to launch it.
