Are you working to turn a big idea into bold action? The TED Fellows program can help. TED Fellows will get to attend the TED2019 conference in April 2019, where they will give their own TED talk. They'll also join the remarkable global community of world-changing TED Fellows. While there is no secret formula to becoming a Fellow, if you are still working on an application – or haven't started yet – here are five things we look for in an applicant. Who should apply

We look for different applicants than many other leadership-oriented programs. Instead of business people, professionals, policy wonks and government officials, the TED Fellows program focuses on doers, makers, inventors, advocates, filmmakers and photographers, musicians and artists, scientists, entrepreneurs, NGO heads, and human rights activists.
