The summer school and the conference will take place at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy.
Summer School on Cosmology 2018, Trieste, Italy: 18th June 2018 - 29th June 2018
The purpose of the School is to provide an introduction to the current state of research in cosmology and astroparticle physics. It is intended for beginning graduate students, as well as more senior non-expert researchers that are interested in these fields.
The School will be followed by a 'Conference on Shedding Light on the Dark Universe with Extremely Large Telescopes' (smr3218, 2 - 6 July).

Conference on Shedding Light on the Dark Universe with Extremely Large Telescopes, Trieste, Italy: 2nd July 2018 - 6th July 2018
This Conference will bring together an international group of experts to review the current state of the art in the study of dark energy and dark matter and discuss how best to use giant telescopes to learn about their fundamental nature. It is the third of a series of three conferences: more information can be found at https://conferences.pa.ucla.edu/dark-un ... index.html

This Summer School in Cosmology 2018 has been successfully completed, it gathered from around the globe graduate students, as well as more senior non-expert researchers in the field of cosmology and astroparticle physics at Trieste, Italy from 18th June - 29th June 2018:

A wide spectrum of advanced materials were presented by well renowned experts in the field, see the programme, teaching materials and a playlist of full lecture videos:
However, the summer school preceded another well successfully completed event - 'Conference on Shedding Light on the Dark Universe with Extremely Large Telescopes' from 2nd - 6th July 2018, that brought together experts around the world to discuss recent and future trends for probing the dark universe with extremely large telescopes, see the conference programme (see a list of invited speakers):

The summer school and conference were both fun and challenging, but interestingly, accompanied by a number of entertainments, mostly, tourism during the weekends to the most beautiful destinations in Italy and the nearby countries such as Croatia, Austria and Slovenia:
Venice

Saint Mark's Museum:

Inside Saint Mark's temple:

Venice is a collection of islands:

Venice taxi - boats:

Slovenia - Ljubljana (pronounced Lubiana)

Market

Ljubljana Castle

Man made River

Trieste

Unita Square:

Trieste Cathedral

ICTP Housing

Without forgetting the Trieste Caves - Grotta Gigante, 500 metres under the ground.

Rome

Florence

Grazie.
