Nice post, does this mean we cannot represent an odd number say, 127, with bits 0 and 1?

Nice post, does this mean we cannot represent an odd number say, 127, with bits 0 and 1?

I am not real sure if we can have that kind of representation in computing.The whole story is originated from the concept of BINARY, or if we can be very specific we can say DIGITAL Technology. Digital means, OF TWO VALUES, in this case we have 0 and 1, the two things computer understands.So in any case we would prefer something of base two, with the sense that, there will be two values that can be repeated several times to form a certain digital message.
