Summary of the call

Within the framework of Danish development cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark hereby invites Phase 1 (prequalification) applications for development research grants within funding Window 1. As it appears from the Call, the research applications from Tanzania must fall within the following themes:

Theme 1: Growth and technological innovation
Theme 2: Gender equality and development
Theme 3: Humanitarian assistance and development
Theme 4: Resilience to climate change
Theme 5: State building

Applications must be submitted by a research institution in Tanzania in collaboration with one or more Danish research institution(s). The Main Applicant must hold a PhD at the time of submitting the application and be attached to the applicant institution. Application deadline is 03 March, 2017, 12:00 hrs. (Danish Time).
