I have this topic here because some of Aerospace control modules are built by using NI LabView . It's a simple GUI programming language.
Front panel - User interface panel.
Block diagram - Contains graphical source code.
You can try to make your own program from the basics, like adding two numbers, etc. You will love it.
Example:
I have built a model to control temperature and pressure levels in a Tank (can be fuel tank), the system LED will blink if the levels are higher than the recommended. Blinking of LED is controlled by Boolean conditions.
Temperature ==> Ranges between 20-300 degree Celsius
Pressure ==> ranges between 0-20 MPa
Condition:
LED for Temperature will blink if the value is above 200C
LED for Pressure will blink if the value is above 10MPa
LED will remain GREEN if the levels are below the critical values.
LabView has loop as well, but WHILE loop is used and "Iteration" shows how many times the loop has run.

Exactly, example in case of higher temperature then PLC will start a fan, cooling gas, or any means set for cooling the system.
