RStudio is a set of integrated tools designed to help you be more productive with R. It includes a console, syntax-highlighting editor that supports direct code execution, and a variety of robust tools for plotting, viewing history, debugging and managing your workspace [1].
To install RStudio, go to RStudio website, choose and download the right package for your system. For example, download RStudio 1.1.456 - Ubuntu 16.04+/Debian 9+ (64-bit) for Ubuntu Linux 16.04 64-bit.
Double click to open the .deb file in Ubuntu Software Center, click install and follow the instructions.
Check here, since as a Linux user, you may need to import RStudio's public code-signing key and validate the signature prior to installation, depending on your operating system's security policy.
