In an ongoing effort to improve life, the United Nations have sponsored a hackathon aimed at Fighting Ebola thanks to geospatial Open Source tools.

Teams of up to five are being called to participate in this challenge. For a nominal fee of R 50 your team can join the day, compete against other teams and walk away with the top prize in one of the following categories: Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced.

You can enter with a project you have been working on for a long time ago or a brand new one. The only criteria are that the data and code are open.
