Second announcement of CIMPA School taking place in July at

* AIMS (African Institute Mathematical Sciences)-Cape Town, Muizenberg (South Africa),
* from Sunday, July 19th, to Friday, July 31st, 2015.

The aim of the research school is to explore recent research trends including : interactions between finite groups and infinite dimensional Lie algebras, connections between quantum groups and knot theory.
The basic material will be provided in 6 mini-lectures in the first week of the school. In addition, 14 one-hour advanced lectures will provide related and more advanced material in the second week.
The 6 mini-lectures and topics will be given by:
* Finite groups, representation theory and combinatorial structures: Jamshid Moori (North-West University, South Africa)
* Representations of Infinite Dimensional Lie Algebras: Vyacheslav Futorny (University of São Paulo, Brazil)
*Modular representations of the Symmetric group: Olivier Mathieu (CNRS, University of Lyon, France)
* Representation theory of Lie Algebras: Katharina Stroppel (University of Bonn, Germany)
* An introduction to topologizing filters on rings: John van den Berg (University of Pretoria, South Africa)
* Symmetries on groups and Ramsey theory: Yuliya Zelenyuk (Wits University, South Africa)
