How can a man fulfill a woman's needs and make her happy in the 21st century?

Traditionally, a man had few roles and responsibilities to fulfill and he was very important and valued by his wife and family for several reasons. During the very early ages, the partnership between man and woman was motivated by survival and security:

1. A man was a provider and supplier -- he worked hard, mostly, hunting (and later as he evolved his work included farming) so that he could provide food to his family for survival.

2. Security -- he provided shelter (house) and protection from physical harm to his wife and children.

Later on, two more things naturally identified and counted to redefine the partnership between man and woman:

3. Sex;

4. Children.

These are four things that defined a man and was the source of his great recognition and appreciation by his wife/family. A man did not need good communication skills, he did not need to be romantic, he did neither need to entice his wife emotionally nor psychologically. Roles and responsibilities between men and women were precisely defined and there was no conflict of interest.

Now, this is what you need to understand today: traditional social and cultural roles used to define a man no longer apply in the 21st century; what made our fathers and grandfathers respectable men in their generation have been destroyed. Sadly, there are a lot of men who are still deeply unconscious about this truth!

Today, a woman can have better education, she can be the leading provider and supplier in the family; she can have the best job and earn a good income/money, she can own an expensive house, drive an expensive car, and even be rich and materially very successful than you (husband). However, a woman does not need a man for protection, she can hire a security company to guard her house if necessary, and generally, there are a lot of laws and bylaws put in place to protect women including their rights. The protection goes beyond the traditional one, to include emotional, and psychological protection. Furthermore, a woman can have sex with whoever she wants and even have children without being attached to a particular man. By the way, even if a woman is married, she may be experiencing the worst ever sex performance from her husband than she ever experienced with anyone else in her lifetime. In short, a woman has immediate access to all the traditional basic needs (and beyond) for which she originally used to depend on a man.

Strangely, a man who has subconsciously grasped the reality of things is struggling to discover his identity! That's, he is trying to answer the question, "what makes him a man if the traditional roles he used to play no longer matters to the woman?" A male man is in crisis, he is unable to define himself and confused about whether education, material wealth, manhood, masculinity or sexuality defines his true identity!

We have seen that, traditionally, men defined their manhood by their social and cultural roles, and they were respected and appreciated by women for what they were able to do. This historical fact has passed on remnants, that impact men's thinking even today! You might have noticed some men attempting to imitate others or characterizing themselves with material things or titles in an effort to boost their identities and make them felt important by others! But, today, the drastic shift in the rules and roles used to define and guide males and females due to the traditional and cultural transition in the society has disrupted the man's concept of manhood. Horrifically, this goes beyond control, as we often encounter some males or females trying to assume their opposite sexuality! I mean, women are trying to be men and vice versa!

The important question is, what is the woman's needs today? If you do not know what a woman needs, be sure to have a lot of problems. Do you know that the rate of women complaining that men are not good is increasing than ever before?

Additionally, increasingly relationship-related problems are being escalated by the emergence of feminized males in this world, most of whom have been cultured and natured by women. We should understand that being male is a biological reality, which is not naturally promoted to manhood. Manhood is a result of development and investment in one's self. Neither existence nor being married or both will make a male a man. More surprisingly, there are a lot of old married males who have never grown to the manhood stage.

What is true manhood? What measures manhood? Is there a universally acceptable definition of manhood?

Here is the fundamental question: What is the Purpose of the Relationship Between Man and Woman in Today's Life?
